The Broker - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
His background tells you something. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That should round things out once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
