The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail tells you something. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly coming. That would be a good addition once it is live.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
