Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, that range is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that works comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
